Couriers Inc. gets $4.5 million contract from GE

ST. LOUIS, MO – Couriers Inc. received a $4.5 million, three-year contract to provide third-party delivery services to General Electric.

The deal, which includes home delivery and installation of GE appliances in Pennsylvania, is expected to boost the company's presence in new markets nationwide, said Paul Bunker, vice president of sales and marketing, in a statement.

Previously, GE gave Couriers Inc. its "Best of 2004" award in recognition of Couriers' 99.6 percent accuracy rating.

Maryland Heights, Mo.-based Couriers Inc. provides delivery and logistics services primarily in the south and Midwest and has offices in St. Louis, Dallas and Kansas City.
